Three Florida teenagers face adult felony charges after allegedly kidnapping a Las Vegas crypto investor at gunpoint and stealing $4 million in digital assets. The victim was forced into a vehicle outside his apartment, driven into the Arizona desert, and robbed of cryptocurrency and NFTs before being abandoned.
The incident, which followed a downtown crypto event, highlights the escalating risks at the intersection of digital wealth and physical crime. Court documents identify two suspects as 16-year-olds Belal Ashraf and Austin Fletcher, with a third accomplice remaining unnamed.
